Another New Develpment in Jupiter?

That 57-acre parcel along Island Way has sat vacant for as long as anyone can remember. It is about to change.

Pulte Homes is behind a 99-home single-family development at Beacon Park, right next to Rialto and Limestone Creek. On April 7, the Town Council gave initial approval to the map and land-use changes that clear the way for construction.

Final approval is still ahead, but this is the furthest it has ever gotten. Neighbors in Rialto spent years watching proposal after proposal go nowhere. This one seems ot moving right along. New construction at that price point sets a new ceiling for the surrounding area. Jupiter is 72% residential by zoning and there are not many large vacant parcels left inside town limits. This is one of them, and it is being absorbed.
