Another Reason Buyers Might Choose our Area

Palm Beach Gardens is getting a 123,245 square foot IcePlex at Plant Drive Park, with two NHL size ice rinks. The city currently anticipates a December 2026 opening.

The facility will offer public skating, hockey leagues, figure skating, curling. Plans also include training space, a restaurant overlooking the ice. It will be open to the public at 10113 Plant Drive, near Military Trail.

Personally, I like seeing more things to do being added alongside the housing. Another indoor option sounds pretty good for those August afternoons.

Even if you don’t play hockey, you might be surprised how many people around here do. For someone driving to practice several nights a week, having a rink nearby could be a real reason to choose one neighborhood over another.

The same thinking applies to being near a favorite golf course, having convenient boat access, being able to walk to dinner. Those everyday conveniences are worth considering when comparing homes.

A house can check every box inside, yet leave you spending more time in the car than you expected. Before choosing a neighborhood, map out a normal week: your commute, regular activities, the places you visit most. Try those drives at the times you would actually make them.

A new facility alone does not establish a higher home value. It can make a location more appealing to the people who will use it. That is what makes projects like this worth watching.
