Golf in Jupiter Florida

Today, I want to highlight some of my favorite golf courses here in Jupiter, FL.

Private Golf Courses:

1. The Bear's Club: In 1999, Jack Nicklaus made The Bear's Club, a top-notch 18-hole golf course on 369 acres of natural beauty with bunkers inspired by Royal Melbourne Golf Club. It's got big, rolling greens, tricky par-5 holes, and 102 bunkers!
2. Trump National Golf Club Jupiter: The 18-hole course at Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is known for its innovative challenges, like deep pot bunkers and a unique island green. The Clubhouse adds to the experience with top-notch amenities, including a ballroom, dining room, pool, and spa, perfect for families.
3. Jupiter Hills Club: The Hills course, Fazio's favorite, has undergone subtle yet consistent improvements over time, featuring the challenging par three 11th hole with six tees and varying angles to a narrow green. Jupiter Hills stands out for its elevation changes, reaching 60 feet between its lowest and highest points, making it highly esteemed and fiercely protected by its exclusive membership.
4. Admirals Cove Golf Village: Admirals Cove offers 45 holes of golf suitable for golfers of all abilities, featuring stunning views, scenic waterways, and challenging layouts. Recognized as one of Florida's finest private golf country clubs, the USGA has honored it as the host of the US Open Qualifier for over ten years.
5. Loxahatchee Club: Loxahatchee Golf Club, established in the 1980s, initially incorporated fashionable chocolate-drop mounding around greens and fairways in line with architectural trends of the era designed by Jack Nicklaus. Although these features have mostly been removed, the course maintains its distinct Florida 1980s-style design, with water hazards affecting 14 holes and the potential for water play on 11 greens.

Public Golf Courses:

1. Abacoa Golf Club: Designed by Joe Lee, this public course is arguably one of the best in Jupiter. Located in the heart of Abacoa, this is a favorite amongst locals.
2. The Golf Club of Jupiter: Designed by Karl Litten, this is best for those seeking an affordable golf experience. It is an excellent time for golfers of any experience.
3. North Palm Beach Country Club: Located nearby in North Palm Beach, this public course designed by Jack Nicklaus offers stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway and affordable green fees.
4. PGA National Golf Club - The Palmer Course: Home to the Honda Classic, this public course designed by Arnold Palmer provides golfers with a challenging and memorable round.
