The Palm Beach Boat Show is coming up next week.
I have already sold three boat slips this year, and all of those buyers were thinking about the same thing, having dockage lined up before boat season really gets going.
Most people do not realize that many marinas have long waitlists for dry storage, and once you get in the monthly costs can be significant. If you want to buy a slip, there is usually very little inventory available.
The other option is a waterfront home with dockage, but quality waterfront properties in Jupiter are also very limited right now.
So if you are heading to the show and thinking about buying a boat, it is worth figuring out where it will live before you buy it.
