What a $10 Billion Bet Means For Jupiter

Stephen Ross’s Related Ross says it has more than $10 billion in planned investment across Palm Beach County, with projects spanning offices, luxury residences, hotels, retail. That is a substantial commitment to the future of our area. Related Ross

The part that interests me most as a Jupiter broker is the employment those projects could bring. ServiceNow announced a regional innovation hub at Related Ross’s 10 CityPlace in West Palm Beach, with the expansion projected to create more than 850 jobs through 2030. ServiceNow announcement

Right here in Jupiter, Voloridge announced an additional property acquisition at Harbourside Place in February, with the expansion expected to support approximately 100 to 200 new professional positions, including technology roles. The company has been headquartered at Harbourside for more than a decade. Voloridge announcement

This is why I am optimistic about our area over the long term: established companies are committing to a future here.

My view is that a growing employment base could strengthen housing demand across northern Palm Beach County over time. Those announcements do not tell us how many employees will buy in Jupiter, what they will spend, which neighborhoods they will choose.

They also do not justify adding $200,000 to your asking price because a billionaire is building down the road. Your home still needs to make sense against the other properties available to your buyer today.

Curious what that means for your property? Reply with your address for a realistic price range based on recent comparable sales.
