Why new construction makes sense now
The headlines have not been great.
But this is.
Right now, new construction is one of the most interesting opportunities I have seen in years here in Palm Beach County.
Builders need to move inventory.
When that happens, they get aggressive.
I am seeing:
- Rate buy downs
- Closing costs covered
- Full warranties included
Real incentives.
In some cases, the monthly payment on a brand new home is lower than a comparable resale.
As you all know, that is not normal, and it will not last.
Once inventory clears, builders pull back and pricing power shifts right back to them.
Most people are waiting on rates.
The better play right now is the deal.
